My (hi)story.
A new beginning.
I finally finished my pre-university program at Ahuntsic College! However, I need to make a thoughtful choice, but fast, about my future. I like History and Politics. What should I do?
Choice 1 : Go to the University of Montreal in History.
Choice 2 : Go to the University of Laval in Political Science.
Choice 3 : Take a gap year to volunteer abroad.

The appeal of Montreal.
Montreal is a great choice. Nothing compares to dirty streets and constant polluted air! It's time to choose the thematic specialization of history I want to study. What should I choose?
Choice 1 : Antiquity.
Choice 2 : Modern era.
The appeal of Quebec City.
After talking to my dad, who went to the University of Laval, I decided to go there to study Political Science. Now, I must choose a concentration that will allow me to focus on a particular discipline of political science.
Choice 1 : Institutions and public policies in Quebec and Canada.
Choice 2 : International politics and world regions.
In the land of crooked teeth.
On August 21st, I landed at Heathrow. I was greeted by a nice old lady with gray hair, just like my mother! The next day, I start teaching French to children in need, so I have a couple of hours for myself. What should I do first?
Choice 1 : Go with that old lady and rest.
Choice 2 : Go to the Churchill Arms pub in London.
To learn or to love?
The Modern era is a safe choice in which I will learn the basis of our society as well as the pioneers who led to the contemporary era. My first class is in 10 minutes, but I just met a cute guy (he looks like young Brad Pitt)!
Choice 1 : Go to my first class.
Choice 2 : Continue talking with my future husband.
He has a girlfriend.
His girlfriend interrupted us and pulled him out of my sight.
Choice 1 : GAME OVER.
A fun night.
I met some new friends and stayed up until the early morning. I missed my first day of teaching and got fired.
Choice 1 : GAME OVER.
A special meeting.
For the first class, each student can meet a clever and influential Canadian politician to learn in-depth some of their invaluable knowledge.
Choice 1 : I choose Justin Trudeau.
Choice 2 : I choose Jagmeet Singh.
A disaster.
It was the worst 30 minutes of my life. Justin only smiled while mumbling incomprehensible sentences. I got scared and never went back to class. It was maddening.
Choice 1 : GAME OVER.
Wonderland.
It was the best 30 minutes of my life. Politician Singh and I couldn't stop talking about his plans for future policies and interventions for the country. He offered me a 6-month internship with him and his team. Should I do it?
Choice 1 : Go for it, I only live once!
Choice 2 : Who do I think I am, I have to go back to university!
Tedious course.
That seemed like a great choice, but the first few classes were rather boring. What should I do to remain motivated?
Choice 1 : Talk to the teacher for more material.
Choice 2 : Talk to the girl next to me.
Kicked out.
She and I were disturbing the teacher with our gossiping and got expelled from the class.
Choice 1 : GAME OVER.
Don't be late.
I just had the best night of sleep! I feel refreshed for my first day volunteering as a French teacher. I better leave now, so I don't get late.
Choice 1 : Take the bus.
Choice 2 : Take the bicycle.
PUKE ALERT!
As soon as the bus took off, I had been attacked by a vomit attack. The author of the crime - a toddler on the way to school - had a greenish face. I know a preschool teacher who will have to deal with a gastroenteritis epidemic today!
Choice 1 : GAME OVER.
To office or to not office?
At the end of the course, I went to ask for more material to deepen my understanding and thinking. He told me to follow him to his office while grunting and smirking. Should I follow him?
Choice 1 : Yes, follow him to his office.
Choice 2 : No, I will talk to the girl next to me next time.
Schooling or partying?
The class was interesting and stimulating. I learned a lot of new things, such as the history of the printing press around 1450. On my way out, a group of girls interrupted me. They want me to come to their party on Friday night. Should I succumb to peer pressure?
Choice 1 : Yes, I only live once!
Choice 2 : No, I need to study.
The internship becomes a job.
After only 4 months in, my colleagues saw my potential. They told me that after university, I would have a job in their office. I am so happy and proud of myself for being able to pull off a job with a politician!
Choice 1 : Start again to see what my life could have been like.
Left or right?
I am stuck in traffic. I can't be late for my first day.
Choice 1 : Turn left at the next street.
Choice 2 : I should turn right at the next street.
Hit by a car.
A big truck turned and didn't check his blind spot. It hit me. I got rushed to the hospital, but it was too late.
Choice 1 : GAME OVER.
Teach to kids.
I arrived safely at the school. After a quick OJT to learn the ins-and-out, I started teaching. The kids loved me, but I loved them more. Once I returned to Canada, I realized it gave me more opportunities. Now, let's start University!
Choice 1 : Start again to see what my life could have been like.
Zero friends.
Throughout my bachelor's degree, I didn't go to parties. I got a great job but didn't make any friends. I am now depressed.
Choice 1 : GAME OVER.
New friends.
It was an amazing night. I made a lot of new friends that I kept for all my life. They even helped me study the following night!
Choice 1 : Start again to see what my life could have been like.
Misunderstanding.
Once I arrived in his dreaded office, the smirking and grunting continued and got worse. I was so scared. After the 15-minute meeting, I was ready to leave when he said he had Tourette syndrome, which made him make these weird sounds. I was relieved! We became so close that I even asked him to be my dissertation director for my master's degree.
Choice 1 : Start again to see what my life could have been like.
